Colocation — host your own servers
Place your physical hardware at an operator facility with agreed connectivity and service arrangements.

How it works
Colocation places customer-owned equipment at an external facility. Unlike a VPS, it involves your physical server rather than a virtual environment. Housing equipment does not automatically include OS or application administration; responsibilities for software, updates and data must be agreed separately.
- Your server
- Rack space
- Power and network
- Remote operation
Where it helps
Consider it when you already own hardware, need a particular physical configuration or want direct control of the server. Compare total costs: hardware, space, power, connectivity, service and site visits rather than rack-space price alone.
What to consider
Specify rack units, depth, weight, mounting hardware, typical and peak power, power supplies and network ports. Agree site access, IPs, port capacity and on-site assistance. Do not assume dual feeds, backup power or a facility certification level unless explicitly confirmed for the agreement.
Getting started
Send the server specification and connectivity requirements. We check space availability and agree documentation, handover and access procedures. Installation verifies power, network and agreed management access. Prepare backups and a hardware-failure response plan before production use.
Questions and answers
Can I bring a desktop computer?
Check form-factor and facility requirements for the specific machine before delivery.
Who replaces a failed disk?
Agree physical access, spare parts and on-site work responsibilities separately.
